Archery is all the rage. Learn the traditional technique of archery and experience exciting moments on our varied 3D archery course at Geierfelsen. In beautiful wooded terrain around the Geierfelsen, we have created dummy animals at 40 stations, which have to be hit from a variety of shooting positions. Fun and exercise in the fresh air take centre stage. Archery increases the ability to concentrate and the sense of community - unforgettable fun for large and small groups and for the whole family!

The 3D course at Stein is used for recreational and training purposes for traditional archers / families and is bound by the statutes and sports regulations of the German Field Archery Sports Association (DFBV) in the areas of safety. The course is marked by signs that define a route with 20 stations. Colour-coded shooting stakes mark a fixed shooting direction, which must be adhered to for safety reasons. Under all circumstances, you may only shoot at the targets provided and in the direction indicated. Please keep to the marked paths to avoid unnecessary damage to the woods and fields. If several groups use the course at the same time, they may have to coordinate with each other.

Mutual consideration and caution are paramount at all times. If arrows are sought next to or behind targets, these must be secured by placing bows clearly visible in front of the target. Targets secured in this way may not be shot at and entering the grounds is at your own risk. Paths and tracks are not secured. Sturdy footwear is required on the course area. The organiser / leaseholder and the landowner accept no liability for injuries and damage. The safety and integrity of all living creatures on the course area has top priority. Under no circumstances may a nocked arrow be aimed at people or animals. Before nocking the arrow, always ensure that there is a clear field of fire. Never shoot uncontrolled into the forest or over terrain without being able to see the field of fire. Special care and consideration must be shown to walkers and other people in the vicinity of the course area. Please bear in mind that "non archers" may not be able to judge your actions and may feel harassed or endangered. For this reason, we also ask that you do not wear camouflage clothing. The course may be used daily. Legal rest periods must be observed. In summer, shooting is also limited to 8.00 pm. In the event of special events affecting the course area (such as forestry work, hunting events, etc.), the course may be closed for the whole day. Corresponding notices are posted in advance. The grazing sheep must not be endangered under any circumstances. Never open any fences. If the gate of the fence is open, you may enter the area and shoot at the targets.

Once the pasture fence ladders have been erected, the fenced area may also be entered via these ladders. It must be ensured that the sheep are completely outside the danger zone. Otherwise, these discs must of course be left out. Shooting traditional bows, i.e. selfbows, recurves and longbows using field points is permitted on the course. Compound bows may only be used in individual cases by prior arrangement. Persons under the age of 18 may only enter the course under the supervision of an adult. Shooting under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted. Official regulations (such as smoking ban in dry weather, etc.) must be complied with. Each shooter is obliged to make an entry with name and date on the course slips provided before entering the course. These slips are collected regularly and are not used for any other purpose. The course fee must also be paid before shooting in accordance with the price list. All shooters must have private liability insurance and are fully liable for their own shots.By entering the course area, every shooter recognises the conditions of use and undertakes to comply with them. We have the friendly support of local residents, owners, hunting leaseholders etc. to ensure that the course runs smoothly. Please behave on the course in such a way that a harmonious relationship with all those involved is also possible in the future. Rubbish, cigarette butts and broken arrows have no place in the forest.

We wish you lots of fun
